How doctor / clinic businesses use cthe.link
Most small clinics take appointments the same way: a receptionist answers the phone, a few patients message on WhatsApp, and the rest walk in and wait. It works until the phone rings during a consultation, a WhatsApp booking is missed, or two patients are promised the same time.
cthe.link gives a clinic one link — for the Instagram bio, the Google Business listing, the WhatsApp status and the signboard QR — where a patient sees the doctor, the clinic hours and location, and books a real appointment time without calling. You keep your phone number and your front desk; the link simply takes the routine bookings off them.
Appointments that only offer times you actually have
An appointment type is a service with a length and a fee. Once you set weekly hours for it, its booking link shows only the times that are genuinely open — times already booked, and times inside the notice period you choose, are simply not offered.
Set up one appointment type per kind of visit — a new consultation, a follow-up, a procedure — each with its own length and fee. If two doctors work at the clinic, each can have their own appointment types and hours.
Patients can reschedule or cancel from their own confirmation page, which also gives them a calendar file. They get an email reminder the day before, with the same link, so a patient who cannot come tells you instead of simply not turning up.
How patients pay — and how fake bookings are stopped
Choose per appointment type: pay at the clinic, pay by UPI straight to your own UPI ID, or pay online through your own Razorpay account. cthe.link never holds the money and takes no commission on it.
Unpaid bookings are the ones that tend to be careless or fake, so by default a patient who is not paying online confirms their email with a short code before the time is taken. You can switch this off for a clinic where it is not needed.
Getting found on Google Maps
Most patients find a clinic through Google Maps, not Instagram. Your Google Business Profile has a Bookings field; paste your cthe.link appointment link into it and the "Book" button on your listing opens your real calendar. cthe.link shows you whether patients are arriving from that button, so you know the link is in place.
The page itself carries an hours and location block with an "Open now" label and directions, so a patient who lands on it from a search has everything they need in one place.
What cthe.link is not
It does not keep medical records or prescriptions, and it does not handle billing for insurance. It is the patient-facing front door: who you are, when you are open, and a way to book. Clinics that need staff rosters, GST invoicing and a full front-desk system can move to the Anilfy platform without losing their link.
Set it up in 5 steps
- Create your free page. Sign up with your email or Google account and pick your type of business.
- Add your appointment types. Add each kind of visit — consultation, follow-up, procedure — with its length and fee.
- Set your weekly hours. Enter the days and times each appointment type can be booked, and how much notice you need.
- Choose how patients pay. Pick pay at clinic, UPI to your own UPI ID, or your own Razorpay account for each appointment type.
- Put the link where patients look. Paste the booking link into your Google Business Profile Bookings field and your Instagram bio, and print the QR code for the reception desk.
